The Director of ASCAL, Dr. Xhiliola Bixheku, the Head of the Quality Promotion and Evaluation Sector, Ms. Majlinda Demirneli, and the Head of the Finance and Support Services Sector, Ms. Pranvera Dingo, participated in the annual event of the Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEENQA), held in Tallinn, Estonia on June 13–14.
The workshop held on June 13, titled “Linking Higher Education to the Labor Market”, focused on the role of higher education institutions in aligning study programs with labor market needs, while simultaneously ensuring and maintaining quality assurance standards. The workshop explored how quality assurance mechanisms can enhance graduate employability, promote collaboration with industry, and facilitate the continuous improvement of curricula to meet labor market demands and needs.
On June 14, the General Assembly was held, during which four members were elected to the CEENQA Board, two new agencies were accepted into the network, and the financial report for the year 2024 was approved.
