Director of ASCAL Dr. Xhiliola Bixheku and the Head of the Accreditation and Internationalization Sector Mr. Erjon Xhako participated in the 2024 ENQA Members' Forum, which took place in Hanover, Germany, on April 17-19, 2024.

On the first day of the meeting, discussions were held on current and future perspectives for quality assurance, the review and revision of the ESGs (European Standards and Guidelines), quality assurance and its connection with scientific research, etc. Additionally, there was a presentation summarizing ENQA's position and contribution to key issues discussed in the Bologna Process, within the framework of the Ministerial Conference to be held in Tirana at the end of May 2024, with representatives of the European higher education community. The second part of the day consisted of the ENQA General Assembly, where various issues related to its activities were discussed and voted upon.

On the second day of the meeting, posters were presented by some representatives of member and associate countries regarding external evaluation processes, distance learning programs, scientific research, stakeholder involvement, quality assurance in emergency situations, etc. Additionally, there were discussions on the rapid developments of artificial intelligence and its impact on higher education.
