The Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ASCAL) had the honor to organize the annual event of the Network of Central and Eastern European Quality Assurance Agencies (CEENQA) in Tirana on May 11-12, " CEENQA Workshop and General Assembly, 2018 ”.

The Workshop held on May 11, discussed topics related to: “Implementing ESG 2015: Views, Experiences and Good Practices”.

There were several presentations by representatives of various agencies, members of the CEENQA network.

Following the activities organized by CEENQA in Tirana, the General Assembly 2018 of this organization was held on May 12, 2018.

Among the main discussions at this meeting: staff exchange for evaluation procedures; cooperation for providing internships with innovative development agencies.

Discussion went on the current status of network member agencies; on potential memberships of other regional agencies, network expansion opportunities.

Also was elected the new president of CEENQA; Cristina-Daniela Ghițulică, ARACIS (Romania), with one year term and two Board members.
