The Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ASCAL) held a discussion roundtable entitled “The Role and Involvement of Students in Quality Assurance in Higher Education”, with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Education, students, and representatives of the Internal Quality Assurance Units of several higher education institutions.

The discussions focused on:

• Student involvement as members of ASCAL’s external evaluation teams;
• Student participation in internal quality assurance processes;
• Ideas and proposals to strengthen student engagement and improve quality assurance processes.

The meeting provided a platform for dialogue and exchange among students, institutional representatives, and ASCAL, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and fostering a shared culture of quality in higher education.
